A message from our founder, Beca Thompson
I am thrilled to extend a warm welcome to you, our Tiny Hooves Herd Heroes, as we embark on our latest journey together! It is with immense joy and gratitude that I introduce the inaugural newsletter of Tiny Hooves Sanctuary. Your support and enthusiasm for our cause have been instrumental in bringing this dream to life, and without your on-going support we wouldn’t be able to continue our mission; I am truly honored to have you by our side.
At Tiny Hooves we believe in the power of compassion, empathy, and the unwavering commitment to providing a safe haven for our farm animal friends. It is our mission to create a sanctuary where every creature, great and small, can thrive, heal, and flourish in an environment filled with comfort, dignity, love and respect.
In this inaugural newsletter, you will find a glimpse into the heart of our sanctuary. From a “How It All Began” feature, to a heartwarming rescue story to updates on ourresidents, educational resources, and upcoming events, we aim to keep you connected and engaged with our shared mission.
Moving forward, the newsletter will, at times, feature a specific project or initiative; articles about the delicate balance of health and care of new born farm animals, to following them as they grow and venture out into the dedicated pasture of their kind, to understanding the aspects of aging farm animals; we’ll talk about on-site events, volunteer opportunities or other local, regional, national or inter-national news on any number of subjects, ranging from learning about CAFO (Concentrated Animal Feed Organizations) to ZERO Waste challenges, to new recipes and other ideas of interest.
I invite you to explore the stories and initiatives that define us and to share in the triumphs, both big and small, that we achieve collectively. Your involvement is not just appreciated; it is the lifeblood of our sanctuary.
Lastly, I encourage you to reach out, share your thoughts, and get involved in any way that feels right for you. As this united front, we can make a profound and lasting impact on the lives of the animals we serve.Thank you once again for being a part of our journey. I am filled with excitement for what lies ahead, and I look forward to sharing every moment with you.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Beca Thompson, Founder of THS
