Roxanne
Roxanne and her horse friends Jake and Ramona were surrendered to us when we moved onto our property in December 2018. They had been previously boarded at the property for years beforehand, and their person just couldn’t afford to move them elsewhere, or continue the care they needed as senior horses. Although we are Tiny Hooves, we were happy to help out these big hooves in their time of need. Roxanne absolutely loves to be groomed and have her shoulders rubbed. When tour groups come out in the summer months, she asks everyone to surround her and give her love, and she radiates it right back at us! Roxanne was trained and ridden her entire life, and now she is retired with us for the rest of her years. Roxanne’s favorite snacks are apple slices and baby carrots.
