Magduson
Magduson came home to Tiny Hooves in 2023. He is a very senior resident (approximately 20 years old!) and came from Great Lakes Pigeon Rescue where he was rescued from the outdoors. Pigeons involved in pigeon racing often face significant hardships. Many are lost during races due to exhaustion, disorientation, or severe weather, and are left to fend for themselves outdoors. These pigeons, bred for racing, may struggle to find food and safe shelter, making them vulnerable to predators and harsh conditions. They often suffer from injuries and malnutrition, highlighting the need for awareness and compassionate rescue efforts. We are so happy that Mags is safe with us! He is a big fan of lounging in the sun each morning, taking big baths in his pool, and cooing throughout the day.
