Lovely
Lovely was rescued in 2017 from a horrible neglect situation with 9 of her potbelly pig friends. All ten pigs were in terrible body condition, had never been fed a proper diet, had never received any vet care, had never been socialized, and were living together in a dangerous environment. Lovely arrived at the sanctuary pregnant. She gave birth to her babies in February 2018, and has been learning how to live “the good life” ever since! She enjoys her days eating snacks, laying in the sun, burying herself under the warm straw in the winter, and taking dips in the pools and mud pit in the summer. Pigs often do not get to stay within their family units, but in sanctuary, they can! Lovely has been slowly accepting our love over the years and letting her walls down, and we are so proud to see her grow and thrive in sanctuary! Some of her favorite things in life are cheerios, strawberries, and sunshine.
