Joanne and her friend Patrice came home to Tiny Hooves in the summer of 2023. They were part of a rescue effort where we took on 21 animals in need. There were many more that were placed in other homes. Unfortunately, this was a terrible neglect case that forced law enforcement to become involved. The conditions were deplorable and the animals were in terrible shape. Joanne took some time in the beginning to settle into what it meant to be safe, comfortable, and consistently fed and cared for. She has since become a social butterfly, even plopping over for belly rubs! Joanne is a big fan of sunny days, munching on grass, and snuggling with her friends each night with her blankets!
