Food Donations to our Residents

“Do you take donations of food for the animals?”

We sure do!!

  • Bagged feed can be donated directly by looking on our website HERE to purchase exactly what we use, and either dropping it off or leaving it for us to pick up at the Burlington Tractor Supply.  Gift cards to Tractor Supply also go directly to purchasing feed for our animal residents.  Please send us an email with your name and address at info@tinyhooves.org to let us know how much feed has been ordered so we can be sure to go and pick it up and can get a tax receipt in the mail!

  • Food donations can be dropped off at anytime at our gate.  Please READ BELOW.

  • We cannot take fruit and vegetables that would not be fit for human consumption.  Just because the animals here are not human, does not mean they want to eat rotten fruit and vegetables.  Please inspect the food you are donating, and if you would not eat it, please compost it.  We will just have to throw it out, and we don’t need extra work 🙂

  • All donations dropped off at the sanctuary must have contact information attached to them if you would like a receipt for your gift.

  • Please respect that dropping off food is not an invitation for a tour.  If we are around, we may say hi, but in general we are out and about at the sanctuary feeding the residents, in the office, or running errands.  If you have business with us aside from dropping off your donation, please contact us to make arrangements at info@tinyhooves.org
