Dora was brought to us as an emergency intake with a severely broken leg. She was at a goat dairy farm, and decided to take a leap of faith over the gate. That jump gave her a broken leg, and a VERY close call to death by shotgun. Luckily someone with a huge heart stepped in and was able to negotiate her surrender.
Dora required an extensive orthopedic surgery, and will need a prosthetic in the near future to assist her with stability while standing and walking.
Dora is a bright, sweet and loving little ball of sunshine! She loves anybody to sit with her and have a conversation or share a cuddle or two. Dora is still young, at just months old, and despite the trauma she has been through, she is thriving and teaching us how to overcome our human struggles. Her favorite snacks currently are apple slices.
