Aurora arrived in March of 2018. She was surrendered to us by her previous person because she was living alone, and they did not have the means, or want to continue caring for her. Aurora had spent a long time living alone, and was a very sad horse when she arrived. We quickly showed her what endless, unconditional love is, and now you can see her thriving with us here.
Prior to coming home to us, she had never been provided regular vet or hoof care. She had a badly infected tooth that our vet was able to remove, and she now gets a regular dental every 6 months, as well as farrier appointments to keep her hooves stable. Some of Aurora’s favorite things in life are rolling in the dirt, grooming her bestie Franny, and being the perfect mix of naughty and nice. Aurora’s favorite snacks are apple slices and horse cookies.
