At Tiny Hooves Sanctuary, our mission is to provide a loving, safe haven for animals in need. Right now, we’re facing a critical challenge: we need to raise $30,000 for operating expenses, some of our larger shelter payments and other outstanding medical debt. This is essential to keep our doors open and continue offering the care our animal family relies on.

How will we spend $30k?

Right now, times are incredibly tough, and we are literally fundraising for each bill we pay. We are raising 30K to keep our doors open and to help pay down some outstanding debt.

The first 15K will be spent on operating expenses. This will help us keep our doors open and providing daily sanctuary to over 150 rescued farmed animals.

Any additional funds will go towards paying down outstanding medical debt and larger shelter payments.

Operating Expenses Include:

Monthly $15,500+ (see graphic above)

  • Feed, Hay & Bedding (shavings)

  • Rent & Utilities

  • Payroll for 2 employees (all others are volunteers), Facilities & Admin

  • Minimum Payments on Shelters

  • Minimum Payments on Outstanding Medical Bills

Outstanding Medical Debt:

Approx: $18,000

While our medical debt is always changing as we are making payments and also providing additional necessary medical care, this is an estimate of our outstanding debt at the beginning of this fundraiser.

  • ~ $7,000 at Elkhorn Veterinary Clinic

  • ~ $4,000 at Purdue University Vet School

  • ~ $7,000 at University Of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine

Shelter Payments / Payoffs:

Monthly Payments: $1,476.91

We have THREE shelters on payment plans ranging from 33 - 39 months remaining. Paying down these shelters will help us have less long term debt and less operating expenses each month. The chicken and waterfowl shelter purchases were in response to Avian Influenza and keeping our birds safe from predators, which is no longer possible in the barn and the courtyard.
